Ok, now that we got that out of the way, let's chat about something way cooler than Mondays... the weekend. Except for I absolutely sucked at being a blogger and by that I mean that I actually didn't take one mother effing picture the entire weekend. So, that's my bad.
I spent the majority of my weekend with this guy:
We watched a shit ton of football, ate like we have the metabolisms of 14 year olds, and drank all of the beer in all of the land. It was glorious until I woke up this morning and realized I think I gained 10 pounds over the weekend and even my yoga pants feel tight. I suppose this is a pretty decent indicator that it's time to lace up and run for the #beersweat again. Le sigh. Getting old is for the birds... whatever that saying actually means. Hopefully it means something negative because that's where I was attempting to go with it.
I'm rambling.
Oh, speaking of football. My Noles.
WE KILLED IT ON SATURDAY.
Suck it, Clemson! (and Gators... who lost... and are now unranked. MUAHAHA. Super suck it, Gators.)
Also, either this picture is an absolutely horrible angle of me or I really need to just go running for 24 hours straight because I look straight fluffy. Then again, it could have been the wings, hotdog, fries, chips, salsa, and god only knows what else I consumed the duration of the day. Let's not forget enough Miller Lite to fuel a frat house. Kind of makes me a little nauseous thinking about it now. Must. Go. Running. #beersweat. #misery.
Speaking of football one more time... I got this text last night from my pal Sarah and then I did the most over the top, out of control, wtf is that white girl doing, happy dance.
Someone just hold me tight and rock me (mama like a wagon wheel) because I just can't even stand the excitement.
Unfortunately that's all I've got for you today. I'll try to be a better blogger this weekend.
Emphasis on try.
Football filled weekends are AMAZING. So glad you had a blast, even if you did gain 10 lbs...you're still beautiful ;)
ReplyWhoo hoo! Go 'Noles! So exciting, I could have cried.
ReplyI think the BCS made a mistake . . . seeing as our DUCKS have won 7 games and Florida State has only won 6. :)
ReplyYour writing just reeks of being in love right now.
ReplyIs Bear a Red Sox rooter?!?! he's got the beard going on just like them!! :-) FEAR THE BEARD!
Replyi wish i still had a 14 yr old's metabolism.
sounds like you had a successful weekend girly!
xoxxo
No pictures and college football talk. This post sucked. Good thing there's mushy bear talk or I'd tell you to try again.
ReplyI JUST THREW UP ALL OVER THE PAGE
ReplyBloggers all need personal photographers following them around and capturing their lives at the perfect angle so monday morning doesn't have to be harder than it already is.
Replyi totally forgot to take pictures of important things this weekend. but that usually means we are having too much fun. not mad about that.
ReplyOh, this weekend hurt my Clemson lovin' heart so hard. But I would love to do a 'UF is unranked" dance with you.
ReplyI can't even talk about the bcs poll. I'm happy for your noles...but good God what does OSU have to do? I mean we won.
Replystill mad about Oregon dropping. ugh.
ReplyThe Noles game was insane! They embarrassed Clemson which I loved! Big win for UCF and FSU this weekend.
ReplyAnd don't feel bad about your indulgences this weekend, I eat good and workout all week and then the weekend hits and it all goes out the window *sigh* between fried food and booze my body hates me and tries to remind me I'm not in college anymore but I'm not listening :-P
I was pretty stoked about that Gator loss as well. We just moved to Jacksonville and I kept ugly glares as I strutted around doing my errands in my Mizzou attire. Suck it, Gators!! You just let a team that was new to the SEC last year, nowhere near SEC level, whoop yo ass!!!! We just bought a new house and the houses on either sides have Gator flags. I cannot wait to find my Mizzou flag and hang it up. Sucks to suck!
ReplyI can't even be happy for anyone who had a good weekend in sports. But the food sounds good and you still look pretty so there's that. And whenever I have people take my picture it's like "NO YOU have to be higher than me and tilt the camera (phone) because that way you won't see my love handles. Ok now take 30 more pictures."
ReplyOhmagosh we were going nuts watching those noles!! And all this with a freshman quarterback?!?! The hubs was giddy and then seeing the Gators go down to our state of MIZ wow, what a Saturday! Top it all off with my oldest's fourth grade mighty mites heading to the superbowl with a 42-0 win on Saturday (one more week of being a cheer mom and dolling her all up on the sidelines!!! Love my life!) it was a fabulous day for football!
ReplyI've got Jameis picked for Heisman. He's electric. He's from my town and I swear if/when he wins we'll throw that boy a parade. If it keeps up it'll be us (Bama) and yall in the big game!
Replybahaha i blogged about that game this morning too. hashtag friends dont let friends wear orange
ReplyI am not even discussing football until I get over the Broncos loss. Which may be never. Also love his Woodford Reserve shirt that place is actually only a couple of hours from me.
ReplyTHANK GOD your Noles won...I hate Clemson with every fiber of my being. And now I'm going to go cry about the Carolina/Tennessee game.
ReplyGame time for the Miami game was officially announced today......
ReplyYo bloggy looks purtyful.. like your face.
ReplyOoooh, shiny new layout! I like, I like!
ReplyI'm technically supposed to root for the PAC-12 and all, but I reeeeeally just don't like Oregon - so I'm happy for you :) Just please root for Stanford in our game vs Oregon in two weeks - we really need all the prayers, good fortune, good luck, wishes, fortune cookies, eyelashes, unicorns, genies, shooting stars, etc. in our arsenal :)
I love your new design!!
ReplyWe play UCLA next weekend, an acutal ranked team which I don't believe we have done this year, and then will kindly be moving back on up! ;)
ReplyIt sounds like you had a fun weekend & ate a lot of yummy food!

ReplyNice new layout Whit! I'm loving that the Gators lost but more so that Alabama is number one!
ReplyMy Tigers beat your Gators, you're very welcome.
