Talk weavy to me.

Heyyyyy you guyssss, since we all made it another day I'm here today to talk serious business.
And by serious business, I mean WEAVE
It's no secret I love to rock locks of other people's hair on my head and I've even admitted that it's somewhat of a dude magnet. My secret weapon, if you will.
Well, when Best Hair Buy contacted me asking if I'd review some weave for them I heard the blogging angels singing from high above.
Finally, this damn blog paid off. Just kidding, I love this blog, we know this.

Here's the hair I'm talking about today, if you missed my post on Monday.
When I was browsing I decided to get a little crazy and order the 22 inch clip-in human hair extensions, which are 4 inches longer than the previous weave I'm used to.
Once they arrived I was really excited because they were great quality and definitely the best type of human hair extensions!

Moving on, let's talk about the additional products you'll need to achieve this look.
1. Obviously, you need to get you some weave. Again, mine came from Best Hair Buy.

2. Moroccan Oil. You don't have to use this exact brand but get you some lube hair oil.

3. Hair spray. I'm a big lover of the Moroccan Oil hair spray, too.

4. Chardonnay. You already know.

5. Curling iron/wand. I'll explain this in the vlog.

Here is a vlog to give you the step-by-step instructions.
Except the Chardonnay turned on me and I forgot to say good bye at the end. I hope we can still be friends.

Let me know if you have any questions and don't forget to check out for all of your weavy needs.

Like it? Love it?

  3. December 21, 2012 at 9:01 AM

Gorgeous!! My hair was that long in real life about a month ago - then I chopped it to my shoulders...I might need to get some of these because I'm missing the long locks! Love the video - very helpful...I would be so clueless with clipping these in!

  4. December 21, 2012 at 9:02 AM

  5. December 21, 2012 at 9:03 AM

That weave looks FAB! I want one!! No style is complete without the vino!

  9. December 21, 2012 at 9:24 AM

Whit! I love the Vlog! :) Even without a goodbye. I have been growing out my hair for 2 years and I will never achieve the length I want...maybe a weave is for me! :) I will have to check out this company!

  10. December 21, 2012 at 9:28 AM

I may have to try a's actually never crossed my mind. My hair is stupid and def. has a mind of its own, so maybe this is a work-around to its madness...? ;-)

  11. December 21, 2012 at 9:28 AM

Love your vlog. Blowdrying the weave is my favorite part. You make it look so fun! I've never thought to curl my extensions as I put them in - but I like this idea much better!

  12. December 21, 2012 at 9:39 AM

I love you.. alot. That is all. Oh and you are the prettiest face in all the land. KBYE!

  13. December 21, 2012 at 10:03 AM

They look so awesome. I'm actually going to buy extensions at the beginning of January. Stay tuned for lovely long locks! I'll be trying your curling advice.

  14. December 21, 2012 at 10:28 AM

Loved this vlog!! I'm definitely taking the "flapper" off my curling iron. I can't afford the wands.

  15. December 21, 2012 at 10:29 AM

You make it look so easy, I should do a vlog with me attempting that so you can see the hot mess version! Very pretty! :)

  16. December 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM

Luh-huv! :) I think my favorite part is when you say "we thought it was really cute....oh. just me." hehee :) What about the sponge roller ponytail curls? Do you remember those? VOMIT.

  17. December 21, 2012 at 10:47 AM

    You are so cute!

  18. December 21, 2012 at 11:03 AM

What a good idea on unscrewing the clip thing on the curling iron! I need to try this! Im with you girl, who wants to spend that on a rod! Love the weave, curls, and vino!

  19. December 21, 2012 at 11:11 AM

You crack me up! Also, clever idea unscrewing the clip from the iron, especially if your on a budget! Your hair looks fabulous!

  20. December 21, 2012 at 11:14 AM

Jenna Marbles is drooling over this vid as we speak.

hint: if you want to get rid of a guy, leave the weave out." I wonder if this works on other people, like people you hate?
can we slap people with the weave?

p.s. this is actually a good tutorial. like i had no idea how to insert a weave.

  21. December 21, 2012 at 11:37 AM

    I love you so many.

  22. December 21, 2012 at 11:40 AM

you are too adorable to even say! I love having short hair but I sometimes wish I could have it long from time to time and this actually helped me decide to actually try to buy one haha. Also, I've always struggled with curling my hair and I think I might try to take it apart cause that seemed like it worked a lot easier than my clampy one, haha. Holiday ideas check.

  23. December 21, 2012 at 12:02 PM

I have ALWAYS wanted to try extentions but they SCUUUUUUUR me.
Maybe the trick is the wine.

    Maybe you have inspired me.

  24. December 21, 2012 at 12:49 PM

I was born without that girl gene that instinctively tells you how to do your hair in any way besides a ponytail or bun...i got sports knowledge instead...thank you for teaching me the ways of the female ;)

  25. December 21, 2012 at 1:00 PM

Loved that - even without the goodbye!

'Just spray the shit out of it' - is definitely what I say to myself when I'm hair spraying my hair every morning.

  26. December 21, 2012 at 1:37 PM

Oh girl I wash my weave all the time, hang that shit up in my bathroom and WAIT until my guests come over. Funny as sin. Now, one word to the wise...the blow dryer on the weave is going to ruin it faster than if you just air dry it. I know these things because I've been married to the weave for awhile now. Weave? No weave? Youz a hottie.

  27. December 21, 2012 at 3:28 PM

Getttt it woman! You are are rockin that weave!!!

  28. December 21, 2012 at 3:42 PM

You know how to rock that damn weave Whitty boo boo and I am seriously saving all my monies to 1. buy said weavage and all necessities 2. a couple hundred bottles of chard and 3. a plane ticket to you!!! HOLLLLAAAA

  29. December 21, 2012 at 5:25 PM

i'm going to be honest. i only watched this video because i'm nosy and i wanted to know what your voice sounds like.

but your weave looks fab girl. get down.

  30. December 21, 2012 at 6:14 PM

Sooo....this makes me want to try some long locks. This also makes me want to go unscrew the curling iron clip right now. Genius! I would have never thought of that. I will be curling my hair tomorrow now. :)

  31. December 21, 2012 at 8:04 PM

Oh. My. God. Between the "freak a dude out" and the ghetto curling iron, I am dying. You are funny as hell. Seriously. And I am taking that thingy off my curling iron right now. Cause I'm cheap, too.

  32. December 21, 2012 at 9:09 PM

Oh, I just fell even more in love with you. Not to get awkward or anything. My weave though, it's my bestie. Goes everywhere with me!

  33. December 22, 2012 at 3:10 AM

    Hahahahaha!!! Hello Jenna Marbles' twin!

  34. December 22, 2012 at 5:43 AM

Ummm we are official long lost soul sisters.

Chard is my wine of choice, having a bottle(s) this afternoon.

My post today is also about hair! and I literally ask about a curling wand. I have an old curling iron I am going to take the clamp off and try. Thanks for the tip!

  35. December 22, 2012 at 4:53 PM

I have been waiiiiittttttingggggggggggggg foreverrrr for my hair to grow back out and girl I think you have inspired me to try me some weave!!!! I actually have a curling wand and thankfully I got a good deal on amazon BUT I wish I had thought of just taking the clippy thingy off my curling iron! Derr! Well, my friend got a free curling iron and I got a wand so ya know. She lucked out. Haha! You are adorable on video Whitney!!!!! <3

  36. December 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM

oh WOW that looks so awesome!! What about if you have a lot of short layers in your hair??

  37. December 27, 2012 at 12:51 AM

OMG you crack me the hell up girl! That was great! I've never used a clip on weave before, but I've always wanted to! I am so scared to try it, I feel like I'm just totally going to screw it up. I don't know where to place it all! I'll def check it out tho, feel free to throw some advice my way!

  38. January 3, 2013 at 1:46 PM

I have extensions and I LOVE them!! I love the versatility it provides.

  39. July 14, 2013 at 8:18 PM
